Most people instinctively believe that prayer is valuable, powerful, and important to achievements, sustenance of life, and victories over life challenges. However, very few people can confidently on their own rely mainly on prayer when faced with real-life challenges. The question is why?

While most people believe that prayer works, very few people know how it works and why it works. Praying and prayer remain a mystery to most Christians and Christian leaders irrespective of denomination. Many Christians have experienced prayer failures for which they have no understanding or scriptural explanations. This has led many Christians to feel frustrated with their prayer life and have very little confidence in prayer as a tool for solving life problems.

Today in the body of Christ, we have many nice, obedient, and religious people who believe God with their hearts but feel highly uncertain and powerless about their ability to pray and get answers to prayers. This is not the will of God for His children!

James 5: 16 -17, 18  Elijah was a man of like passion as we are. And he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for the time of three years and six months. 18  And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth caused its fruit to sprout.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know.

Rom 8:32  Truly He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Psalm 91: 15 He shall call on Me, and I will answer Him; I will be with Him in trouble; I will deliver Him, and honor Him.

Psa 84:11  For The Lord God is a sun and shield; Jehovah will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

Ecc 10:10  If the iron is blunt, and he does not whet the edge, then he must put more strength to it. But wisdom is profitable to direct.

Isa 5:13  Therefore my people are gone into captivity because they have no knowledge: and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

If God can answer the prayer of Elijah with all his weaknesses, He surely is waiting to answer yours when you get the right prayer skills.
