The present volume is a comprehensive text book, not only focussing on the theoretical framework but unfolds in a systematic way the basic issues relating to its growth and problems in Indian Agriculture. Certainly, it will provide a broader base to benefit the students not in a specific region rather to the students of almost all Indian Universities at postgraduate level.

Contentwise, the book has been divided broadly into three units. Unit-I deals with the basic concepts of Agricultural Economics. Unit-II makes an indepth analysis of various models of agricultural development while Unit-III has been devoted to the development problems of Indian agriculture.
